BIOGRAPHY

With more than 20 years of experience, Omar Khayat is among the Middle East’s most prominent interior architects, wellness & fitness center consultants, and pool & water feature designers and provides interior design consulting services worldwide.

Omar was the only interior architect on the “The Pearl-Qatar” project; the largest man-made island in Qatar and worked as part of the team in Doha from 2007 – 2014. He was involved in the master planning and development, which included managing the erection of multiple towers, villas, town houses, retail units, boardwalks, an amphitheater and much more. 

He has designed many water features, including the one-of-a-kind musical and interactive water feature called the “Katara Water Feature” in Doha, Qatar.  He has also designed many swimming pools, including a 2015 award winning pool for its unique design located in Doha, Qatar.

Omar has designed and supervised the design execution of many residential and commercial spaces and wellness & fitness centers throughout Lebanon, Qatar and UAE.  During these projects he has worked with renown international suppliers to fulfill the client’s vision and stay within their budget.

Omar graduated with a bachelor’s degree from U.S.E.K. (Université Saint Esprit Kaslik) in Beirut, Lebanon, 2000.

With more than two decades of experience working in different reputable firms in Lebanon and Qatar, Omar has designed and supervised multiple projects throughout Lebanon, Cyprus, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Italy.  To date, he has worked on over 200 commercial and residential projects.
